1740. A loan indenture between the Commission of Loan Office in the County of Salem, New Jersey and Aaron Leaming Sr (1687-1746) of Cape May. The indenture is signed by Wm Hancock with a vax seal. Hancock (1693-1762) a prominent Quaker and Justice of the Peace in Salem County 1727.....

A lad purchase between Aaron Leaming Sr, father of the Aaron Leaming (1715-1780) who together with Jacob Spicer, (1716-1765) compiled early colonial New Jersey Law, and Henry Peterson (1696-1741). The Leaming family were prominent landowners in Cape May. It seems Henry was selling the land.....
