Moss I p525-526 Wakrefield's edition, first published in 1796 which has gone through several impressions, appears to be the most popular. Clarke in his Greek Studies in England p139 writes that Wakefield was one of very few English scholars who believed in Wolf's theory that there was no person called Homer.
