FROM THE LIBRARY OF ELZEVIER BIBLIOGRAPHIER CHARLES PIETERS with his bookplate on the inside front board. Pieters p262 #127. There is a comment in pencil on the inside blank quoting Bernard's Elzevier Catalogue of 1822 stating that this edition is 'fort mediocre'. Pieters disputes this comment in his bibliography stating that there is another edition of the same year. Willems 1101 calls it 'tres jolie'. A fresh clean copy in excellent condition. Includes a modern bookplate on the inside blank. Very Good. Item #7550
