Includes a contemporary inscription to the President of Q C Galway with the Professor Davies Compliments on the title page. (This is NUI Galway in Ireland). There is an additional inscription on the inside front board "Alan Henderson from his Affectionate Uncle William Moffett 1st January 1903." This is probably the Irish scholar and educationalists, who served as President of Queen's College Galway.Thomas William Moffett (1820-1908). He was educated at Trinity College Dublin, where among accomplishments he was awarded gold medalist in Greek. Slight rubbing to the edges and corners otherwise a fresh clean copy with an interesting provenance. Very Good. Item #7374
