Lacks engraved frontispiece, otherwise complete with the 23 engraved portraits. Somewhat later signature of B. Grahame on the inside front wrapper. William Cave (1637-1713) was an English divine and a scholar. Lowndes I p395. Henry Bohn in their General Catalogue of 1841 #15432 describes this edition as 'very neat'. Some marginal staining on a few preliminary leaves, otherwise internally clean. Very Good. Item #7310
