The Congregation de Propaganda Fide was established in 1626 for propaganda among the Eastern people. Most of the types were taken to Paris is 1798 and much of it remains at the Imprimerie Nationale. Includes an introduction by Giovanni Cristofano Amaduzzi (1740 ¿ 1792), a noted philologist and Professor Greek at the University of Rome. He was also the Superintendent at the Press.
