Includes two inserted typed letters from A. E. Newton on letterhead and addressed to Mrs. David H. McAlpin 3rd and signed by Newton. Also includes a bookplate from an Underwood-McAlpin on the inside front board. Some soiling to the boards and wear to the corners. Dust torn, but portions of it persevered inside the rear cover.
