Lowndes II p732 "A very agreeable, conclusive and interesting narrative". The author, George James Welbore Agar-Ellis, (1797 ¿ 1833) was a British politician and man of letters. From the Library of Collin Armstrong with his bookplate with the 'Invictus Maneo' motto on the inside front board. A later bookplate of Albert Rowe Merrill on the inside front end paper and signature of Herbert Leventer. Some light general rubbing to the hinges and a scrap mark to the upper portion of the front board. Internally a fresh clean copy. Very Good. Item #7039
