The first volume only of Michael Maittaire's study of incunabula and early printed books. Additional volumes were published in 1722 & 1726. This volume includes a 32p bibliographical dissertation on works by Quintilianus, but it does not include the portraits of the printers. Some light foxing, but otherwise a fresh clean copy.
