Third edition edited Christoph Cellarius which first appeared in 1688. From the Library of the German philosopher and lawyer Carl G. G. Lodtmann (1720-1755] with his signature and date 1745 on the title page. He is most famous for his detailed history of Osnabrück, the "Monumenta Osnabrugensia" published in 1753 where linked the coin findings in Barenau with the campaigns of Germanicus in 14- 16 AD. Moss p549 "A useful and commodious work". Also contains Freinshem's Supplement. Portions of front blank removed. Boards partly soiled.
