Foldout frontispiece and 7 additional foldout plates as well as a few illustrations in the section called "The Melanchton Manuscripts". Small tears in the fold of the frontispiece. Untrimmed edges. A few contemporary notations in pencil from somebody who may have attended the sale. Dibdin mentions the Kloss sale on p411-412 in his Reminiscenses of a Literary Life. Dibdin adds that had the collection been sold twenty years earlier, the produce had been threefold. Ex Library copy with bookplate on the inside front board and perforated stamp on the title page as well as call numbers neatly added on the spine. Otherwise a rather fresh clean copy of an important sale catalogue. Very Good. Item #2736
