The editor, Richard Holt Hutton (1826 ? 1897) was an English journalist of literature and religion. He worked with Walter Bagehot as co-editor of the National Review founded in 1855. From the Library of William Henry Grenfell (1855-1945) with bookplate on the inside front board. Nicely bound by Ratcharge Piccadilly with their faint binders stamp on the inside front blank.
