Nehemiah Day Sperry (1827 ? 1911) was an American educator and businessman who served as a U.S. Representative from Connecticut for eight consecutive terms from 1895 to 1911. He was also Secretary of State in Connecticut 1855-1856. See Howes H509; Sabin #31962. Later signature on the inside front blank. Scattered foxing throughout, Headband rubbed and rear the upper part of the rear hinge cracked. Slight soiling to the boards and corners bumped. Item #2531
