Worcester: Isaiah Thomas, 1803. 192p, [8]. Contemporary calf with a gilt ruled spine. The author Georg Joachim Zollikofer (1730-1788) was a Swiss-German theologian. First published in German but translated by James Manning (1754-1831) from the French edition. This followed by an abridged and corrected edition by Thaddeus Harris (1768-1842) Pastor of the church at Dorchester, MA. Some light scattered foxing otherwise internally clean. Front hinge cracked but holding. Nicely printed by Isaiah Thomas. Item #2493
