Contemporary signature of Susannah Draper on the title pages in both volumes, which according to an inserted old bookseller catalogue slip is the second wife of Sir William Draper, and daughter of Oliver De Lancey of New York, who was a Brigadier General of Loyal Provincials during the American Revolution. Kept in a cloth slip case, morocco back, each volume in a cloth protective cover. A few marks and light wear to the slip case. Item #2373
