Kept in a contemporary slipcase box made of marbled paper. Introduction with the life of Shakespeare is by Nicholas Rowe (1674-1718). 19th century handwritten gift inscription on the inside front blank followed by a 20th century gift inscription below. Additional handwriting on the second front blank in neat brown ink which seems to be in the form of a poem written in Fars. A really well-preserved copy with a small crack in the upper part of the front hinge. Wear and rubbing to the extremities of the slipcase. Item #2330
