Also includes Orationes by Johannis Hoornbeek, Frankfurt, 1697.A reprint of Grotius' work on the true religion first published in 1627, bound together with two works by the polemic Dutch Reformed Theologian and Professor Johannes Hoorbeek (1617-1666). The first work is an edition, first published in 1653, of different attacks all of what he considers as enemies of the true faith. The book is divided into three categories; Infidelis, that is non-Christians, Haeretici, that is Catholics, Libertines, Anabaptists etc and Schimasmatics, that is Remonstrants and Lutherans etc. The second work by Hoonrbeek consists of two speeches, the first at his inauguration as Professor in 1642 and the second at the fineral of Carl de Maets in 1654.
