Dibdin II p552-553 gives it mixed reviews, but adds that "Ernesti has highly extolled the edition, calling it omnium orincipem et canonem Virgilii". Ebert #23715 "A rich and valuable critical and exegetical apparatus, in which fresh MSS, have been made use of. The smaller poems, however, remain without any fresh materials". Sandys II p455p.
