Second volume; large paper copy in paper covered boards. Third volume of the original edition covering letters K-Kipping. Heinrich Wilhelm Rotermund (1761-1848) was a Protestant theologian and academic who expanded Jocher's biographical lexicon. Still a very valuable bio-bibliographical reference source for more the obscure names. Second volume stamped on verso 'Gymnasium Luccaviense' (i.e. Luckau, Brandenburg, Germany). There is no separate title page to the second volume as it is only a continuation of the text. First volume is internally clean. Some marginal stains towards the end in the second volume. Rubbing to the boards as a result of use with loss of the marbled paper. Scarce in the original edition. Item #10575
