The first two leaves are parchment with the title in elaborate hand painted calligraphy. Handwritten music sheets throughout. Giovanni Tarditi (1857-1935) was an Italian composer and conductor. The text AL 19th Reg Bavarese appears in gold script on the top of the front board. Probably a unique gift issue as their appears to be no record of this publication. Small purple rubber stamp on the title page "Ausbildungs-Bataillon 21. (bayer) Inf. Reg." on the title page. Handwritten paper slip attached to the lower part of the front board. Corners lightly bumped otherwise internally clean. Rare. Item #10543
