From the Library of Sir Timothy Littleton (c1608-1679) was an English Judge and politician who sat in the House of Commons 1660 to 1670. After the Great Fire of London in 1666, Littleton became a Judge of the Fire Court set up by the Fire of London Disputes Act of 1666. His role was to hear cases relating to property destroyed by the fire. Occasional marginal annotations in the text. Light scattered foxing along the margins. Item #10435
