Court Hearing Prince William County, April 2nd, 1781.
1781. A handwritten document on both sides measuring 10.5" x 11". The hearings include "Brent's Land" which regarded a land dispute by William Brent Esq. This is possibly William Brent (1733-1782). "The Will and Testament of Mary Reeve's" The documents regarding the Will were presented to the Court and an appraisal of the estate was ordered, The second page talks about a bill for a land sale. Some light foxing to the leaf. Since the document concludes with 'Signed Foushe Tebbs" rather than just the signature, this probably a true copy of the original. There are also crossed out corrections in the text. A legal document from the American revolutionary era. Item #10342
