This later edition was enlarged and improved by the classical scholar Thomas Morell (1703-1784) and is referred to in Dibdin 1808; II p413, as the "edit. opt of this very excellent dictionary". Ebert #301. Lowndes p23. From the Library of James N. Duntze with his bookplate on the inside front board. Notation by later owner on the inside front blank. Hinges cracked, but holding. Headband worn. Boards worn and extremities rubbed. Corners bumped and two vertical cracks in the spine otherwise internally clean. Certainly, a well appreciated copy. Item #10322
