1703 Philadelphia Indenture

Philadelphia: 1703. Document measuring 8 1/4 x 13" written in sepia ink on a single fold folio sheet on paper with a Dutch watermark. Signed at the bottom by Christopher Sibthorp. Additional names include Ricard Dillworth and two other names, The document has a tear at the bottom where the seal was removed, not affecting any text. Minor fold separation on the blank back page and 3" tear along the fold on the text page but not affecting the text. A wonderful example of early colonial calligraphy. Item #10309
