Rebacked preserving the original spine, except the top square which is has expertly replaced. Second edition. First printed in 1823. John D. Hunter (ca 1796-1827) claimed no knowledge of his birthplace and that he had been taken captive by Native American Indians. From the Library of Frederic Haines Curtiss with his bookplate on the inside front board. Some light scattered foxing to the preliminaries and light rubbing to the boards otherwise internally clean.
