Roach & Co with their small stamp on the inside front blank. Spine in compartments with raised bands, lettered and ruled in gilt with a gilt hunting motif of crossed rifles. Upper edges gilt. Spines and margins lightly sunned. original decorated cloth covers in green and plum laid down on the front pastdowns, with original cloth spines mounted on rear pastedowns. Both volumes with some occasional light foxing in places. Part II with small dampstain in lower margins on p51-120 and with small paper loss at upper margin of p273. One neat repaired tear to lower margin of p297. From the Library of Swedish artist and author Gunnar Brusewitz (1924-2004) with his signature on the inside front blank. He authored and illustrated many books, and also worked in newspapers and television. He also designed the diplomas for the Nobel laureates in literature from 1963-1988. Sabin #31461.
