This is the first appearance in full and in French. Includes commentaries by the French philosopher Louis de la Forge (1632-1666) Brunet II 611, Graesse II p364. Scattered foxing. Thin stain along the margin of the title page and preliminary. Small wormhole at the inner margin not affecting the text from p132-192. Paper torn at the margin on p71 without any loss and some old ink spots. Binding rubbed along the spine with loss of gilding. Corners a little bumped. Very Good. Item #008140
