Edgeworth introduces "an intimate and valued friend" to an undesignated recipient whose apparently famous and important work she praises. She proceeds to discuss her own pressing financial matters, forcing her to sell a share in a railroad, "Necessity has no reason or cannot alas listen to any.". Some discoloration to edges, mounted along the edge to heaver sheet. Very Good. Item #008058
