Complete with 60 engraved plates whereof two are maps and one folding plan of Jerusalem. The plates' American engravers included Anderson, Tiebout, Doolittle, Rollison, Allen and Turner. Just as the first edition appeared in London in 61 weekly parts (October 22, 1785 to December 23, 1786) the American edition was first published in parts beginning in 1792 (the first part containing the title page, dated 1792, Evans 24437, but publication was not complete until 1794 (Evans 27174). Complete with list of subscribers at the end of the volume. Scattered light foxing and offsetting. Scattered marginal loss and closed tears. Folding plan of Jerusalem split. Very Good. Item #008007
