A handsomely bound Welsh family Bible, illustrated with nearly 70 engraved plates edited by Rev Owens Jones (1808-1889) a Calvinistic Methodist Minister. Plates with occasional mid marginal damp staining; horizontal closed tear to two plates repaired with tape. Text with scattered light foxing, occasional mild soiling. Inner paper hinges split but holding with repairs, mild loss to joints, moderate age-wear. Not listed in Darlow & Moule. Very heavy. Very Good. Item #008003
