John Laird Wilson (1832-1896) was a Scottish born journalist and historian who emigrated to the US in 1866. A well preserved set with rubbing marks along the boards. A scratch mark by the upper edge of the front board in volume I. An old repair to a small part of the spine on volume II. Otherwise internally a fresh clean but very heavy set. Very Good.
