Two original handwritten letters by James Scarlett

1836. No Binding. Two original letters written by James Scarlett (1769-1844) 1st. Baron Abinger where of one is signed. The signed letter is undated though written sometime in the 1830s, and addressed to My Lord Chancellor who he is asking if he can spare a few minutes of time for a meeting. The unsigned letter is dated August 5th, 1836 and is addressed to the British politician and Lawyer Lord Lyndhurst (1772-1863). The letter is more lengthy and seems to contain a suggestion to decide a strategy relating to a newspaper article. Some light wear to the edges, otherwise clean copies. Very Good. Item #003361
