The rather uncommon first edition by the noted linguist Hampus Kristoffer Tullberg (1797-1896), who also advocated a belief that spelling should be determined based on pronunciation. Tullberg writes in the preface that he regrets some of the typographical short-comings which is partly due to some of the hebrew type fonts having broken during the printing. Internally a fresh clean copy with only light general wear to the binding. Contemporary ownership signature of JG Malmstrom on the inside front blank. Very Good. Item #003319
