Oxford: E. Theatro Sheldoniano, 1718. LARGE PAPER COPY. (12), 163p, (35). 19th century orange morocco with the gilt monogram of Rev. Theodore Williams on the boards. Second edition in Greek edited by John Hudson (1662-1719) and enlarged with additional notes from Boivin's and Schurzfleisch's editions. Moss p224 writes that these editions are greatly esteemed. The text, he continuous, has been carefully revised and corrected. Lowndes p1394: who also references this copy as large paper and the auction price at the Williams sale in 1827. Some general rubbing along the edges of the boards, otherwise a fresh clean copy with initials of Philadelphia collector Edwin Wolf on the inside front blank. Very Good. Item #003241
