A Undated Document from the French Revolution
No Binding. A handwritten document written on four sides of a folded folio leaf with engraved monogram of the French Republic on the front page. The document addresses a problem in Tours. Turns out that the Brigade Bonnard had created a company of 63 guards men comprised of voluntary conscripts by public or general notice without approval. The document continues with explicit instructions to address the problem since no emergency has occurred to justify the requisition. Major General Canuet, Chief of Brigade 2nd, in command in Tours is tasked with the responsibility to address the problem. Aside from some toning along the edges and small chips to the margins, a fresh clean document. Very Good. Item #003218
