French Revolution. Undated Holographic Letter Written After 1784.

An undated holographic letter written sometime after 1784 by Antoine-François Gauthier des Orcières (1752-1838) with his signature. It is addressed to the famous General Claude Carra St. Cyr (1756-1834) and has his signature underneath as member of the War Department. Claude Carra St. Cyr had participated in the US Revolutionary War and returned to France in 1784 where he later fought in the Napoleonic Wars. A fresh clean document written on a folio leaf folded in half. Item #003127
