Holographic Letter By the Section La Guerre

Du Comite de Salut Public. A handwritten document dated "l'an troisieme de la Republique Francaise" addressed to the Committee of Public Safety signed by Jean de Bry (1760-1834) member of the Comite de Salut Public and President of the National Convention. He voted in favor of the death sentence of King Louis XVI. The document seems to address a commander of a military brigade. Some slight faint foxing to the paper, otherwise a fresh clean document with the committee's emblem on the top of the page. Item #003126
