Paris. Nicolas-Louis François de Neufchâteau (1750 10 January 1828) was a French statesman, poet, and scientist. The letter is written while Minister of the Interior and seems to concern an eminent Professor who has every right to dissiminate useful knowledge under the protection of the Government. The text is clear and legible written on both sides of the paper. Small chip in the upper left corner affecting a few later letters in the margin. Very Good. Item #003089
