January 14th, 1816. Letter Requesting a Return to His Previous Position at the French Post Office

1816. A letter from Pierre Alexandre Delaville addressed to the "Comte l'Herbonville, Directeur Generale des Poste" requesting to be allowed to return to his previous position. The letter also includes a signed recommendation in the margin of by l' Abbe Jagault dated January 25th, 1816. A small folio leaf with some slight toning along the edges and two small tears on the right side not affecting the text. A fresh clean letter with a very legible text. Very Good. Item #003087
